Yocan Troubleshoting: evolve Plus not heating up

As for Yocan Evolve Plus not heating up topic, some newbies don’t how to troubleshooting. Here are two examples their post on vape communication platforms, like FC forum or reddit.com

I recently purchased the Evolve plus and when I charge it, there is a small red light that stays lit for about 15 seconds then disappears. When I hold down the main button, nothing happens. The coil does not heat up or anything. How do I know when the battery is fully charged?

I have a yocan evolve that lights up when i press the button, but the coil does not get heated. I hadn’t used it for about three months, and accidentally left the battery on during that time. It worked fine yesterday and earlier today but then it just stopped working. I have tried multiple coils and fully charged the battery but it still isn’t working. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Here is some tips fix evolve Plus not heating up.

#1 Turn on the device

5 Clicks can turn on most of Yocan device, include the Evolve Plus vape pen.

#2 Fully Charged the device

#3 Make Sure All Connections are Correct

The battery contact gets dirty or depressed too far causing a bad connection to the battery. Try cleaning the connection at the atomizer and pulling up on the contact in the battery with a pick. Most of the time, the incorrect connect will resulting in the device blinking, like the post Suorin drop blinking blue Troubleshoot discussed.

  1. Screw your cartridge onto the magnetic adapter and then place it into the cartridge chamber.
  2. Use the knob to adjust the shutter until it holds the cartridge firmly in place.
  3. (Optional) Use the lever to adjust the cartridge to the height you find most comfortable.
  4. Press the power button five times to turn on the device.

Yocan UNI Universal Portable Mod not working

If you have read our previous post about Suorin blinking troubleshooting, you will find out most of vapers will meet. How to fix vaporizer blinking issue is the normal troubleshooting during you vaping it. You just make sure everything is firmly connected. So,when you press the fire button and get blinking lights, one of two things is happening:

  • The cartridge center pin is recessed and not making sufficient contact, the UNI mod can’t load the cartridge correctly, and flash 5 times.
  • The cartridge center pin is extruded and getting pushed in, causing a short, the UNI mod flash 3 times.

How to maintenance/cleaning Yocan Hive 2.0 Box Mod Oil Cartridge?

The Hive 2.0 doesn’t need too much maintenance, however, regular cleaning will ensure the best flavor and maximum life of your device. Use 95% or higher isopropyl alcohol to prevent a build-up of sticky residues. The best method is putting a small amount of alcohol on a cloth and rubbing lightly to remove the residue.

You will also need to replace the atomizers from time to time. This varies based on use but atomizers typically last about two months. You can easily find replacement atomizers at a local vape shop or you can order them from us at the Vape Vet Store. If your vape is still working well, but you notice the taste is a bit off, you can always change the atomizer sooner to get the best flavor.
