Vaping 101: VW Mode v.s TC Mode

VW Mode (Variable Wattage).

Variable wattage mode is also referred to as watt mode or power mode, and allows you to choose the output power of your mod. Like Yocan Lit.

Temperature Control (TC)

TC Mode is the mode through which the box/mod regulates the intensity in order to keep the coil at a temperature. Like Yocan HIT.

TC mode is like a car that allows you to put the pedal right down, but you can also gently tap it to move the vehicle ahead slowly.

Conclusion

The basic idea with TC is you set the temperature you want and the mod does the rest. Rather than hitting the firing button to add more fuel to the flame like in VW mode, TC mode adjusts everything internally on the fly. This prevents the wick and coil from ever getting hotter than the temperature you’ve set.
